The non-profit organization World Pediatrics announced its first charity tournament, ‘Golf for the Kids,’ with the goal of providing new life opportunities to children in vulnerable situations. This activity is scheduled for February 27, 2026, at the Guatemala Country Club, and the funds raised will be used to finance specialized pediatric surgeries and treatments.
In Guatemala, thousands of minors face difficulties accessing timely medical care. “We are in a context where almost half of the child population suffers from chronic malnutrition, and infant mortality reaches 17.7%,” noted the organizers.
